Article Source: http://www. articlesbase. com/ – Comparing Pre-paid Discount Telephone Cards and Post-Paid Cards
– How much was your last international phone bill?- Do you have friends and family that live abroad?- Do you want to talk for hours and not care about the bill? You can relieve some of the cost pressures associated with calling international phone numbers by selecting to call abroad with either a pre-paid or a post-paid international discount telephone card. Advantages of Pre-paid Calling Cards:1. Control the budget: you can pay for however long you would like to chat, and when you run out, the card will simple stop working. You will not get charged any excessive usage fees. Pre-paid calling cards are a very useful budgeting tool for people that talk regularly overseas. 2. You can use them to call multiple countries: many telephone cards allow you to use them from multiple calling destinations around the world. 3. You have the choice of how you pay: you can pay by cash, credit card or maybe or bank deposit either through internet banking or by going into a branch. You control how you want to pay. 4. Don’t need to keep buying new phone cards: you can usually add more credit to the phone cards you already have by buying credit on the internet or over the phone. Advantages of Post-paid International Telephone Cards:1. You will never be cut off before you finish your phone conversation: Although the majority of prepaid phone cards will warn the caller by sounding a series of beeps that only the caller can hear when the phone card is about to run out of credit, if your phone card credit runs out when you are on a call you will have to stop talking and recharge before you can continue talking again. 2. No PIN numbers: Most prepaid calling cards require you to enter a 10 to 12 digit secret PIN number which can be hard to remember or inconvenient to enter into your telephone key pad each time you want to make a call. Please note however, many prepaid Australian phone cards in the market these days offer “PINless dialling” where you can pre-program the phone number that you are calling from so you don’t have to worry about entering PIN numbers. Calling all sorts of Asiatic and European countries is easy and cheap with the wide range of prepaid and post paid phone card options available to you online.
